Hey. I’m Laura. I offer acupuncture, Chinese medicine, and somatic support to help people regulate.
I see people who aren’t feeling well as well as people interested in aging with agency. I support folks with, seeking, and without diagnoses. All of you is welcome with me, even aspects of yourself you find challenging.
I’m silly and serious in equal measure. I like creativity, being cozy, and asking questions.
I’ve been in private practice since 2013. I see people one-on-one in Seattle or online through a secure portal. If I can’t help you, I’ll help you find someone who can. To read more about how I think about my offerings, check out my ethics page.

My work is a counterpoint to the mind-body split. I am qualified to address complex health concerns, and I can also help you find more meaning, consistency, or safety in your day to day experience.
My licensure and training as an acupuncturist and practitioner of East Asian medicine permits me to attend to a broad range of organic and functional conditions including mental health concerns. I provide somatic support as an educator and peer.
We can talk about your health conditions, symptoms, and treatments from a biomedical perspective. If I'm not familiar with your diagnoses or medications, I will learn about them.
I am not a primary care provider. I cannot order labs, prescribe pharmaceuticals, or make medical diagnoses. I am not a licensed mental health counselor. My work is not a substitute for psychotherapy. I do not make mental health diagnoses.
I like to collaborate with other kinds of providers if you and they are open to working together. My work is effective on it’s own and it is a powerful addition to established, on-going therapeutic or medical care.
