Hey. :) I’m Laura.
I help people regulate.
I am qualified to address complex health concerns, and I can also help you find more meaning, consistency, or safety in your day to day experience. My work is a counterpoint to the mind-body split.
I support folks with, seeking, and without diagnoses. I care for people who aren’t feeling well as well as those who are interested in aging with agency.
All of you is welcome with me.
Even the parts of yourself you find difficult or challenging.
I’m silly. I’m serious. I like art, being cozy, asking questions, and drinking tea.
I work in-person in an office in Seattle and online through a secure portal. If I am unable to help you, I will help you find someone who can.
I learned how to do this work because I needed this kind of care myself. To read more about how I think about my offerings, check out my ethics page.

I am a multidisciplinary practitioner.
My licensure and training as an acupuncturist and practitioner of East Asian medicine permits me to attend to a broad range of organic and functional conditions including mental health concerns. My licensure as a massage therapist allows me to work with touch and to treat the body structurally through soft tissue manipulation. I provide somatic support as a trained guide and peer.
I am not a primary care provider. I cannot order labs, prescribe pharmaceuticals, or make medical diagnoses. I am not a licensed mental health counselor. My work is not a substitute for psychotherapy. I do not make mental health diagnoses.
We can talk about your health conditions, symptoms, and treatments from a biomedical perspective. I have extensive education in the dominant paradigms of care through my Master’s degree. If I'm not familiar with your diagnoses or medications, I will learn about them.
I have been in private practice offering one-on-one care since 2013.
I love to participate in collaborative care with other kinds of providers if you and they are open to working together.
